KABELWERK EUPEN' experience in the field of Medium Voltage Cable goes back to the early 30s of the 20th century. Todays modern XLPE-insulated cables have completely replaced the impregnated paper insulated cables since.
Our crosslinked polyethylene insulation are triplex-extruded, dry-cured and provide excellent electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical charateristics.
Our product range covers the voltage classes from 3,6/6 kV up to 20,8/36 kV with conductor cross-sections up to 630 mm˛ (aluminium) resp. 500 mm˛ (copper).
They can be produced according to various national or international standards as NBN, VDE, IEC,... Available additional features include enhanced fire behaviour, longitudinal- and transversal watertightness, armourings, lead-sheaths...
